1) Place a blank cd into the pyramid CD-R drive.
2) Log onto Pyramid and provide your user name and password.
3) In the shell that appears type in the command "xmkc".
The following window will appear:
4) Type in the path to the location of the data that you wish to burn to the cd.
5) Click on the "Check Path" button. This will check the location of your data.
6) Next to the Volume Name, type in a title for the cd you are going to burn.
7) The System Name, Publisher Name, etc will fill in automatically.
8) Click on Create Image to create your cd. This will take a few minutes to complete.
9) Finally click on the "Burn Cd" button to write your data to the cd. This may take up to a half hour to complete.
10) When the cd is finished burning it will come out of the CD-R drive.
11) Log out and exit the computer when finished.
