HOW TO SET UP THE DIGITIZER
The following commands will start ARC, initialize the digitizer, and start an Arcedit session.
At the UNIX prompt type:
arc
If the digitizer is turned off, at the arc prompt type:
Init9500(if the digitizer is already on, move on to the next step)
To initialize the digitizer at the Arc prompt, type:
digitizer 9500 com1
To start Arcedit, at the Arc prompt type:
ae
The next commands will open up a display window and register the map to the board.
At the Arcedit prompt, type:
disp 9999
coord dig <coverage name>
At this point, enter the tic numbers using the puck's number pad. For each tic, enter the tic number followed by an "A", then line up the puck's crosshairs with the tic and press "1". You will then get a prompt for the next tic number. When you are finished entering tics, press "0" then "A". This will put you back at the Arcedit prompt.
