Loading Paper into the HP 755
1. When loading new media into the HP 755, be sure that the media is placed onto the spools with the loose end of the media facing upwards on the side of the spool which is closest to the plotter. The lever on the right side of the plotter should be up and the display screen should read "Ready for Media".
2. Be sure to have some slack on the end of the roll and begin to insert the media just above the silver roller feed. Keep feeding the paper in until the plotter grabs the media and holds it. Be sure to follow the directions on the display screen, these will help guide you through the loading process.
3. Lower the lever and push the 'Roll Load' button indicated on the display screen. Be sure to specify the type of media you are loading into the plotter (i.e; opaque bond, heavy-coated paper, etc.).
4. When the plotter begins to pull in the media, hold the excess media and gently push to help guide the media into the plotter.
5. Once the media is loaded, lift the lever again and allign the media with the roll which it is coming from. Once the media is alligned, lower the lever and the plotter will assess the media which is loaded and then the plotter is ready to plot.
